These are the same people who coal roll Prii and flip over smart cars. I’m actually surprised it took this long for them to start attacking Teslas. A lot of these guys are physically violent and will try to harm you as well.

And for what? I still don’t understand why they do it aside from them thinking it’s fun. Ugh.

Still have a video of a tow truck (of all vehicles) Trying to run me off a road . I slammed on the brakes, he slammed on the brakes. I floored it, he floored it. And whenever there was a guardrail or a steep ditch he’d basically dive bomb me. Eventually I just decided to outrun him. Thankfully his truck was limited to 85.

In another fun edition, there was a dummy on a Harley brake checking me. Why? I don't know?!? It was a 6 lane highway and I was in the right lane. Dude came from the left lane to harass me.

I will never get people who somehow think malicious destruction of property is a prank. If I went to a gas station and cut the hose for a gas pump there is no prank there.

I will say I do find it wrong when places have “ electric” or “ fuel efficient” vehicle parking right in front of the building. I mean, my van gets better mileage than modern minivans, that means I should be able to park there right?

The issue isn’t that these clowns don’t have a life; it’s that they are miserable and feel threatened by anything remotely different than what they have. Being fed nothing but propaganda will have that effect on people.

I can understand a bit of mild frustration when Tesla/electric vehicles are given primo parking spots. But, that was a decision made by that establishment - maybe that was just the most cost-effective location to install the chargers-, not at the behest of those who drive said vehicles.

What irks me about people who would do something like ICEing or vandalizing of the chargers is that they are willfully, deliberately, and maliciously ignoring the teachings they usually claim to adhere to. That book they most likely claim to follow explicitly commands humans to be good stewards of our planet and its resources. And while a Tesla might not be a perfect solution -battery production is quite messy- it is still at least an attempt to improve conditions for others. As opposed to these deplorable assholes to ‘roll coal’ to prove some point; which I’m fairly confident they don’t even know what it is, only it makes certain people angry and that is literally the only thing that have left.

For the electric car parking with chargers close  to a building; it could simply be that was the most cost-effective place to put the charging stations.

I’d like cams for my bike, but they are expensive, and it’s one more thing that needs to come off and charge after every ride. I’ve had a guy try to roll coal on me, but he mistimed it, so it wasn’t really a problem. Far worse was the guy in a lifted pickup who was intentionally veering at cyclists and then pulling away at the very last instance. During a charity ride. On e slipup and someone easily could have been killed, and that’s made all the easier by  the truck’s compromised suspension.

This actually makes more sense than we give credit to. Tesla released proprietary chargers across the US meaning that they don’t share infrastructure with Bolts and Leafs that do use the actual standard.

It's a shame Tesla does this, it's an added cost for everyone and it's only bragging points.
